Located at Waikuku Lagoon.
The Cache is a sistema container, which when placed contained a pencil case, ball, whistle, cookie cutters, log book, pen and stash note.
This area is rich in Maori History. The story I have heard is that after a great battle occured here, the bodies of the defeated were left in the lagoon. It was hence named Waikuku, which means "rotting waters". See GCWOMV for a more detailed account of the local history.
