Geocache Description:

Monticello road is most likely well over a 100 years old. It was there long before Lake Berryessa was built. This turnout is a large one with plenty of room. There has been a lot of construction on the road in the last couple of years, and is becoming a lot more safe with the barrier walls they put up and anchored the soil from moving.

Even up the road bit there was a huge slide that went crashing down the mountain and closed the road for a week. Now, It is nicely paved and cleaned up well. But the hill side on the left is just gone! Enjoy the hunt! please replace EXACTLY as found and well out of site to avoid capture!
