This letterbox is placed along the West Ridge Trail coming up
from the Fire Road in the center of Nisene Marks. We placed it
after finding another cache on this trail, The Sports Nut. The
above coordinates take you to a nice place to stop on the trail,
then follow the directions below to find the letterbox.
TO FIND THE LETTERBOX: From the trail you should be able
to look uphill and see about five large stumps in a semi-clearing.
Walk 20 paces uphill from the trail, and look for the letterbox
covered and within a half circle.
In the letterbox is a logbook and pen for you to leave your mark
for future finders to see. There is also a rubber stamp and inkpad
to use to mark your own cache/letterbox journal. If you don’t
have anything to stamp, there are loose pages available to take one
away with you. Please DO NOT take our rubber stamp or inkpad.
Trade items are not necessary in a letterbox but there is room
enough for small items here. We are starting with a travelling
geocoin and a couple toys.
