Geocache Description:

Veteran's Park Beach, MM39.5 Overseas Highway

This cache is located just off Overseas Highway near MM40 en route to/from Key West. Parking is available and a short walk on the sandy beach is all you'll need to discover this cache. Intended purpose is a stopover for travel bugs but other trinkets are certainly welcome!

Cache is a tuperware container roughly 8" by 4". Original cache contents include 2 TB's and lots of fun trinkets. Cache is accessible regardless of tide status so bring your sandals and take a break for a few minutes to stroll on the beach.
(We gave the terrain rating a '2' because the cache is only accessible by foot through the sand. No vehicles are permitted on the beach.)
One last note... the view from this area is absolutely amazing... especially at sunrise. Bring a camera with you as you enjoy beautiful ocean views!

Please PLEASE make sure that you replace the cache and all the surroundings EXACTLY the same way you find them. Don't trample on any vegetation and be sure to put everything you move (rocks, brush, leaves, vines, logs, etc.) back the same way that you found them. THANK YOU. By taking the time to return the cache location to the way you found it, the next cacher will enjoy the hunt.
