Geocache Description:

The legacy continues.

Archaeologists are in shock at the moment at the recent discovery that Beigebeard, the not so fearsome pirate, had produced an heir. As there has been much documentation on Beigebeards legendary failures as a pirate so it should come as no surprise that the fruit of his loins, PastelBeard failed in all facets of pirating.

Recent excavations on Beigebeards treasure stronghold unearthed a lone scrap book detailing the life and times of PastelBeard. Instead of being filled with ghastly tales of woe, recounts grand scale pillaging and all the rest, most of the pages are filled with poetry, sketches of flowers and philosophical meanderings.

It seems when PastelBeard was sailing the seven seas, he was more content to watch the sun set, prepare gourmet meals from turnips, bananas and rum and enjoy long chats with the cabin boy in his private quarters.

Recent analysis of the diary has found a that one of the pages covered with the usual droll fodder or orchids, plants and quaint seaside property contains some text written in invisible ink that uses the same coordinate system that led to the discovery of Beigebeards treasure.

It has been determined that the coordinates are somewhere near a rocky bluff above raging seas, but no one has yet been able to determine the precise location of the dead mans chest. Can you?
