4WD is the best approach,or a 4k walk in, Or, rental(-;).
Only accessible 2 hrs either side of high tide,any closer than 2
hrs the tide is way too high for access around the point &
watch for waves sweeping across the rocks (check with locals if
unsure)
Cache is hidden in a sand dune right at a point break known by
surfers as Mukies 2.A fickle wave at best,when it does its world
class,on this point, rides of 30 seconds long are not uncommon,on
bigger days the outer reefs combine to produce long,long rides with
resulting burning legs & long,long paddles back to the
start.(500 mtres plus)
My favourite wave to be sure,hate leaving the place when its
breaking,and,because of its isolation,its seldom crowded!
Back to business!---the cache is a small sistema container,camoed
black, with small items of trade & logbook.
