About Tompa:
Tompa is a little town with 5000 people in the state Bács-Kiskun in South-Hungary. The traffic is heavy here because this town is near to the international border crossing point to Szerbia and Montenegro.
This is a two-stage multicache. The first part have to be solved first and the you need to find the cache. The passwords from the two-stage are the mainpassword.
You can find the first password by the entrance of St. Anna-church. You just have to look at the embossment up and there is a four-letters-word. N 46° 10,9569' E 19° 32,0394' You need to find an aluminium door where you can go in because the church is under renovation !
The second password is in the cache which can be found in a little wattle-forest by the root of a strange plum-tree. N 46° 10,8766' E 19° 31,8586'
You can find the cache easily by car. By this point N 46° 10,9939' E 19° 31,9003'
you need to turn left then go 150 meter till you reach a little parking space. N 46° 10,8884' E 19° 31,8826' You can leave your car here and walk 30 meter where the cache is.
About Baroncroft:
This area was belong to the famous Hunyadi family in the year 1500.
In time Terézia Mária the owner was the Rédl family. The castle was built in 1702 but it was too small for the devouts. Baron Béla Rédl builted a neogothic church. About Baron Béla Rédl there is a legend: He wont die till the church is not ready. He delayed to finish it for 12 years. (1905) The consecration was in 1912.
The estate devolved upon his brother's daughter, whos husband was Endre Podmaniczky, then their son, Attila. He was the last baron in Tompa.
In the end of the second wold-war started to consume the castle and the surrounding 50 hectare big very beautiful park.
Novadays in the castle there is a Mental Patient Establishment.
