Geocache Description:

A cache at the old cement works at warkworth.... it's a fairly simple cache that should make for a lovely day out.

Ok the cement works at Warkworth were abandoned in 1929 but were bought buy the council in 2003... there some truly wonderfull looking buildings/ruins... have a wander round but do not enter as the signs say.... these are old buildings and are unstable.

The cache is a sistema container hidden with in easy reach... other than the odd prickle you should have no issues getting to it.

the terrain is easy and you should be able to get a wheel chair to the quarry without any issues but prolly not to the cache site although a pushcair/buggy thingie that ya keep sprogs in should make it there.

If it's sumer than the kids, grand kids or maybe the neighbours kids and enjoy a dip in the refreshing waters... maybe ever take a kayak trip from scotts landing further down the river!

If it's winter.... prolly not the best time to go swiming but there maybe good fishing i'm not too sure.
