Located near the old Auckland to Taneatua Railway line. May be approached from Karangahake car park Or Waitawheta Road. There is no reception at the cache site. The coords will take you to a side path. Follow this for five minutes to the end. You are at quite an impressive rock face with water falling from the top.
From the waterfall retrace 7 meters from the end of the path(pool). Facing the waterfall the cache is 4 meters on your right. The cache is a 1kg peanut butter jar, enclosed in a black plastic bag. It contains a log book and pencil.
