This is a Whitefish Lake link from Timberline Echoes. According to the imformation I recieved I think this is the location of "The Last Battle." If you would like the story about this cache send me the code which is under the lid or in the log book you can E-mail me and I'll send the story behind it. It involves the factual story of the killing of Chief John Pine of the Chippewa Nation at this site as reported in the Milwaukee Sentinal 1923. Poor Ol' John!
