RPW: Well the powers that be at Purdue have decided that standalone bike racks are not a good idea and have started removing them. Since this cache was part of a bike rack it no longer exists.

The story, continued

Deep in the midst of Purdue Agricultural campus the Mad Scientist strides towards his laboratory intent on genetically modifying the Paddlefish, er, the SKillianFish to his devious plans. He stops to lock up his secret plans in his hidden cache before diving down into the sub-basement of the building where his DNA synthesizer resides. After much site-directed mutagenesis, bacterial transformations and recombinations he triumphantly exclaims “Eureka!” Bleary eyed from the sickly yellow that Purdue has painted on the concrete walls of his lab, he furtively drags a large, wet, container out to his car. It is the SKillianFish! Large. Shark-like. With teeth. Man-eating! But where to put the fish? And how to make the announcement? A sly grin covers his face. He knows exactly where and how. But first he needs something more. He goes back into his laboratory and brings out a silvery object surrounded by an oil bath. Story continued in part 3
