A multi-cache set in a picturesque location.
Please be aware that on average 1 dog per month is lost over the
cliffs here, so please keep on a lead. This also applies to small
children!!
If you keep to the trail you'll find a nice circular walk back to
the car park.
The cache is set on Brean Down which is full of history and
wildlife click here
The co-ords above are for a National Trust car park £2.50 (free to
NT members) in season. However, alternative free parking is
available close by if you use the local facilities.
Once parked head for...
Step 1 (no pun intended)
(Please consider making a donation at the collection box at the
foot of the steps - the NT collect an amazingly low amount at this
box considering the amount it costs to keep the down open for
visitors)
Now count the number of steps to the top, starting at the one that
has a wooden riser... = ABC
Once at the top, take a look at the views, then work out Step
2

Now go to N51°19.477 W003°00.(300+ABC) on the way see if you
can find the big concrete arrow - this was used as a range marker
for the bombing range in Bridgwater Bay to direct bombers for
training during WWII.
