Geocache Description:

10 minute level walk from parking lot, along a seaside bluff in a state park

This replaces my San Simeon Seal Spot Cache (GCDD0C). This is a longer walk but more scenic and definitely less people. You'll see elephant seals up close almost any time of the year. Respect any posted detours you must make around lounging seals. Since more than 200 cachers found the original hide, this is a popular place. Park at 35 39.874, 121 15.734 and follow the path along the bluff. The cache is in a small lupine bush on an ice-plant covered mound. Wear closed-toed shoes. Iceplant is an invasive plant species here, so trampling it is not a problem but PLEASE don't leave a geo-trail to the cache! Thanks!
