LA Inspired: Camouflage Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Stuey: Well, it's either been taken, or it's dropped into the vegetation below. It's been lost twice now, so it's time to archive.

A new cache has been placed nearby which I hope to get approved soon.

Geocache Description:

During a trip to Los Angeles I discovered lots of new ways of hiding caches. This one is practically in plain sight, but it's a 35mm film cannister that has been made to blend in with the surroundings.

You can park in the car park in Beer at N50°41.600 W003°05.700 (free between November and March, charges apply rest of year), or you can walk there from Branscombe along the coast path. The path from the car park is undulating, mainly grass and mud. The route from Branscombe is initially steep and tough going, but you are rewarded with spectacular views along the coast when conditions allow. You used to get a distant view of the MSC Napoli which was run aground near here early in 2007.
