Geocache Description:

This isn't too hard a cache. You get a great view of the river, and during the summer, you get to watch some of the swimmers entering the river from the Lewis Park side of the river, and you might even see a seal in the river.

The cache is a small transparent container with a white lid. You might have to crawl on all fours to get to it. And don't worry, 'cuz it's *not* in the river.

I determined the coordinates using a Garmin unit, and I have observed that if you're using a Magellan unit, you might be led to a spot a few dozen metres offset from the cache, so "caveat scrutor" (searcher beware) and make sure you replace the cache exactly where you found it.

n.b.: As of 2009/6/26, a new facility known as Riverside Fit Park is open right at the foot of this cache site. Fitness equipment has been installed here, and while you're looking for this cache, you might want to think about using the machines yourself. They're really fun, and they might give you enough extra strength to look for many more caches.
