This is an easy (TWO) stage cache. shortest walk, west
around ball diamond. PLEASE DON'T LITTER
This is a family and over the hill gang type cache. Bring the kids a picnic lunch and enjoy the
park. The Three Trails Santa Fe-California- Oregon wagon trains passed through this park on
their way westward. To keep alive this memory of history; the santa-cali-gon festival is held
each labor day weekend. It started in 1940 and 1941 and due to WW2 it did not start again
until 1973 and has been held each year since.
