Geocache Description:


Entinen Tampereen Ilmatorjuntapatteriston alue. Lakkautetun Vatialan varuskunnan alueella on nykyisin high-tech -teollisuutta, joka valmistaa mm. puolustustarvikkeita. Lähistöllä on kaksi käytöstä poistettua tykkiä, joista toinen -- 20 mm VKT -- sijaitsee aivan Kangasalantien varrella. Tehdasalueelle ei tarvitse mennä.

Vatialan vanaatikot

This cache presents the former garrison of Vatiala, an anti-aircraft defense base. There are still two artillery pieces left near the cache. The garrison area is nowadays used by high-tech industry, but there's no need to enter into the factory area to log the cache.
