Ample parking, with a short level walk to cache, which is hidden in
a camouflaged bag.
Brought you to the north west point of the island where there are
miles of excellent beaches in this part of sunny Fuerte Ventura,
even on a busy day they are too big to be overcrowded.
Just south of here there are the lagoons, where most tourists go to
sample the powder white sand and the clear blue sea, separated into
safe lagoons making it safe for families and easy for
swimming.
Just to the south of El Cotillo is where most of the surfing,
windsurfing, increasingly kitesurfing, is done off the main beach.
But do take care swimming here, it can be very dangerous. On big
days it can be monstrous.
Other great beaches on the island - the above mentioned Lagoons,
Playa Blanca (between Puerto del Rosario and the airport), any
beach along the sand dunes just outside Corralejo, Tindaya (if you
can find it) and Sotavento (just past Costa Calma).
Since 2003 the developers have gone mad, there are plans for a Golf
course.

Near by cache Castillo de El Toston (GC11JA1)
Genügend Parkmöglichkeiten und ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Cache
welcher in
einem getarnten Beutel versteckt ist.
Hier am Nort-Westlichsten Punkt der Insel wo es viele Kilometer
wunderbaren
sonnigen Strand von Fuerte Ventura gibt welche so gross sind dass
sogar an
stark besuchten Tagen nicht überfüllt sein können.
Etwas südlicher gibt es Lagunen welche unter den Toristen für
ihren
wunderbaren weissen Sand und dem klaren blauen Wasser bekannt sind.
Diese
sind in kleinere Lagunen unterteilt welche daher auch sicher zum
schwimmen
für Familien sind.
Im Süden von El Cotillo ist ein Surf- , Windsurf und tolles
Kitesurfinggebiet. Hier muss man daher beim schwimmen vorsichtig
sein. An
manchen Tagen kann die See hier sehr gefährich und monstrous
sein.
Andere grosse Strände auf dieser Insel - die ober erwähnten
Lagunen, Playa
Blanca (zwischen Puerto del Rosario und dem Flughafen), alle
Strände entlang
der Sand Dünen ausserhalb Corralejo, Tindaya (wenn du ihn findest)
und
Sotavento (kurz nach Costa Calma).
Seit 2003 einige Planer verrückt geworden sind , gibt es hier Pläne
einen
Golf Platz zu machen.
