| This cache was originally part of the
King Tut Cache Challenge put on by the Franklin Institute when the
King Tut Exhibit visted Philadelphia. 12 caches had to be found in
a timed event. This is an easy cache and smiley, no swag needed.
This cache is outside of Adventure Aquarium, the home of thousands
of animals living in varied forms of semi-aquatic and oceanic
habitats. While searching for this cache, you may be one of the
hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Camden Waterfront each
year.
Some interesting facts:
- Nearly two million gallons of water flow through the facility
at any given moment.
- The 760,000-gallon Open Ocean Tank is one of the largest on the
continent.
- The Aquarium features fish, birds, sharks, sea turtles and many
other animals from all across the world.
- You can visit the Irazu River Falls, a breathtaking two-story
tropical waterfall.
- The Adventure Theatre shows exciting 4D-ride films.
- The "Jules Verne Gallery," is stocked with mystical members of
the oceanic world.
- The West African River Experience features hippopotami,
porcupines and more than 1,000 fish and free-flight aviary.
You can stroll up and down the promenade and see the Tweeter
Center, the Battleship New Jersey Memorial and Museum, the Wiggins
Park Riverstage, the Camden Children's Garden and Campbell's Field,
home of the minor league Camden Riversharks.

January 16 by 24Jan (250 found) After wondering whther this was it, and stil in commission, and taking a moment to realize that it opens from the top front, I was excited to get at the bag and sign the logbook. It's been a little too long since my last find! Glad this cache is here, fun to find after a few hours in this excellent aquarium. TFTC and Find # 243!

January 10 by jbehnke (33 found) Out for NBC 10 day at the Aquarium. Talk about muggle traffic. It was not long before the girls had the cache in hand. Saw one similar across the river. Great place for a cache. Snagged the geocoin and left a marble and rubber duck key chain. TFTH.

November 18, 2009 by P5 Inc (605 found) I kept saying to myself, it won't be there...and it was. Never seen a hide like that. Signed the log and snagged a TB.

November 9, 2009 by YpsiPirate (78 found) Never seen a "hide" quite like this one. I was trying to find the Franklin Post Office and ended up on the bridge to NJ! So hit a cache and wandered along waterfront. Took USC Gamecock Keychain TB and a skateboard Tech Deck TB. Left Chippewa Event GC and a Michigan Geocaching enamel pin. TFTC.
