Geocache Description:

Un cache nascosto vicino ad una misteriosa costruzione di Carona, nel Canton Ticino (Svizzera)

A cache hidden near a misterious building in Carona, in the Ticino region (Switzerland).

Nelle vicinanze di Lugano sulla montagna sopra Melide si trova la splendida cittadina di Carona (http://www.carona.ch/), molto particolare e carrateristica. Tra i vari 'palazzi' (così sono chiamati sul sito) e chiese a cui è legata la storia della cittadina stessa, si trova una costruzione davanti al cimitero in stato di abbandono. Non abbiamo trovato nessuna documentazione relativa a questa costruzione, ma la presenza della croce in cima ad un qualcosa che potrebbe essere un campanile 'interno', ci ha fatto pensare che potesse essere un vecchio convento. Da qui il nome che abbiamo dato al cache. Il cache è un tupperwear con sul tappo giallo un grande smiley. Al suo interno, oltre al logbook e ad una penna, sono stati inseriti alcuni piccoli trimbri, un backgammon portatile un portachiavi da collo ed una palla magica. Il premio per il FTF è "[CnK] PaPaTiTi", ossia un "First Italian Baby" geocoin (Nickel Antico).		Near to Lugano on the mointain over Melide it is located the wonderful village of Carona (http://www.carona.ch/), very paricular and characteristic. Between the different 'palaces' (this is how they are called on the website) and the churches that are part of the history of the village we found a misterious building in front of the cemetery, that is totally abandoned. We haven't found any documentation regarding this building, but the presence of a cross on the top of what we could see as an 'internal' tower bell made us thinking that the building was an old convent. That is why we choose this name for the the cache.. The cache is a tupperwear with a big smiles painted on the yellow top. Inside, beside the logbook and a pen, you will find some small ink-stamps, a portable backgammon a neck keyring and a magic ball. the prize for the FTF is the "[CnK] PaPaTiTi", that is a "First Italian Baby" geocoin (Antique Nickel).
