The cache is in the middle of the pine woods about 1.5 kilometers away from the village called Vácduka. The place is a forest on a hill in a silent valley.
This is my first cache hidden, I mean the first on the web. I've visited this place a number of times in the past and I like it very much. This is why I've decided to offer it a cache :-)
It can be reached by train from the Western Railway Station (Nyugati Pályaudvar, Veresegyház line!) or by bus from the Újpest station. (We only tried the train so far)
Take off the train at Vácrátót but use the station Vácduka if by bus, no matter how funny this sounds... :-) From there you'll need to get over a mound, it's about 2 kilometres on a paved road through a forest. Once in the village, you'll find a dirt road (check the waypoints) on your right, that's where you need to follow your way down to the valley.
It is recommended to leave your car at the parking point referenced, should you be still sitting in it. The roads beyond this point are not suitable for cars, not worth trying. You'll go uphill from here, 40 meters climbing on 80 meters :-) The only known and accessible entry to the woods is the geodesy point referenced as a waypoint. It is not advisable to go straight from the car parking point but to bypass the scrub by going to the right. Now 250 meters walking in the woods, you can choose between the path in the middle of the forest or you can follow the track between the trees.
The box is a 20x20 centimetres kitchen box hidden on a 5 x 5 merters clearing between two trees at 30 centimetres from each other. You can spot the clearing easily till twilight, the light green of the grass varies from the environment. The box is covered with those not typical branches, if you found the clearing, you'll find the box within minutes.
It is not recommended to lay a fire in the pine woods as the resin is highly flammable.
