Hyland's Highlands Traditional Cache
~Marvalus: This cache was placed when TheGeoMunchkins were in preschool. There have been lots of changes to the grounds up at the Orchard, including a frisbee golf course. I guess since TGM are now in their second year of college, it is time to bid this one farewell. Thanks to all who visited!

This kid-friendly cache is at one of TheGeoMunchkins' favorite places. There is a wide, stroller-friendly tractor road to the cache site, though it is a short, steady uphill walk. No dogs allowed, nor any caching after dusk.
WHILE THIS CACHE IS AVAILABLE IN WINTER, MEANING YOU COULD GO FOR IT YEAR-ROUND.... IT IS NOT SNOW FRIENDLY WITH MORE THAN A COUPLE INCHES OF SNOW COVER.
This cache is meant to be a fun, kid-friendly cache. Plan to bring the family, bring your lunch, and spend some time here. We originally placed a temporary cache at this location for TheGeoMunchkins' preschool field trip. This place is fabulous... it has a petting zoo, with emus, goats, llamas, ducks, ponies and more. In the spring, they tap maple trees, and there is a sugar house where they make maple syrup. There is also an orchard for fall activities. And last but not least, there is a brewery here as well! What could be better than a cache for all ages and seasons!
Parking coords are the same as "Eo-Jay Ash-Kay" GCM5AP by Birdsong-n-Bud. Make sure you visit that cache as well, if you have not already done so.
This cache was placed with the permission of the owners, with the stipulation that it not be available after dusk. There is a private residence on the premises, not to mention the animals in the petting zoo, and nighttime activity would be frowned upon. Please do not drive up the dirt road beyond the "covered bridge", as this is only an access road to the orchard for the owners. There is no need to enter any structure you might see.
