This is the first geocache in Subcarpathia, placed at the Verecke pass, nearby the Hungarian Conquest millecentenarium memorial (N: 48° 49,127; E: 23° 9,87). This is a sacred place for all Hungarians as Árpád’s tribes - our forefathers - first here entered the Carpathian Basin in 895.
We advise you to leave your car at the parking place (Waypoint 01) and take a walk to the cache. The cache can be reached by bike as well. The cache can be found near the memorial (Waypoint 2).
