The co ordinates are at a convenient car park, not the location of the cache, at a very popular coatal farm park.
Below are a list of co ordinates which will determine the answers to the questions. However the co ordinates & questions are not in the same order.
The co ordinates are:-
1. S 36 58.405 E 175 15.257
2. S 36 58.512 E 175 15.460
3. S 36 58.427 E 175 15.291
4. S 36 58.605 E 175 15.502
The questions are:-
1. Add these two dates together.
2. The top four digit number on this structure (disregard the 's' at the beginning of the number)?
3. When was this built?
4. What year was "The Treasure of Tapapakanga" discovered?
To locate the cache:-
Add the answers of the four questions together to derive the total.
To compute latitude co ordinates (ie S 36 58.XYZ)
X = Subtract the 3rd digit from the 4th digit of the sum.
Y = Add the 3rd digit to the 4th digit & subtract the 2nd
digit from the sum.
Z= Subtract the 4th digit fron the 2nd digit of the sum.
To compute the longitude co ordinates (ie E 175 15.ABC
A = Subtract the 3rd digit from the 4th digit & subtract the
3rd digit again of the sum.
B = Add the 2nd digit to the 3rd digit & subtract the 1st
digit of the sum.
C = Subtract the 2nd digit from the 1st digit of the sum.
The cache contains log book, pencil & usual trading items with the theme "THE OLD HOMESTEAD". If possible please trade with items you may relate in & around an old homestead.
