These coordinates are for the parking area only! This cache is partially located in Kettle Pond Nature center and partially at Burlingame state Park. To figure out the coordinates,you must answer questions from inside the Kettle Pond Nature Center Museum, Then go hit the trails! You will to find the cache off a trail from Kettle Pond. Round trip is about 1/2 mile. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Kettle Pond Visitor Center, 50 Bend Rd., Charlestown.
This is a great nature center at Kettle pond. Bring the Jr. Geocachers with you!!!The National Wildlife Refuges of Rhode Island is devoted to the conservation and development of healthy habitat for flora and fauna at the NWRRI, and the provision of a safe, accessible ecological experience for visitors. The association promotes the benefits of the refuges and the National Wildlife Refuge System to the community through public education and interpretation, and supports the refuge staff through projects designed to accomplish the goals of the Comprehensive Conservation Plan for all the refuges in Rhode Island. This cache contains a small FTF prize. You'll want to spend extra time at the nature center, there is so much to see!
