Hello! As you are the owner of a Virtual Cache in Wisconsin, this message is being sent you as a friendly reminder. Here are the current steps that need to be followed in order to keep your Virtual Cache listed on Geocaching.com.
1)... Ensure that the email address in your profile is accurate and that you are receiving emails from the Site. (visit link)
2)... Log into the Geocaching.com website at least monthly. (visit link)
3)... Verify all "Proof of Visit" requirements are being met for all logs on your listing. Delete any entries that are invalid. (visit link)
4)... Respond to all emails sent by Groundspeak staff, volunteer reviewers and player requests sent through the Site.
Chances are that you are already doing all of these. If so, well done! If not then please begin to do so as Virtual Caches that are not being maintained by their owners run the risk of being archived. Bogus logs, which is an abuse often termed as "Armchair Logging", are not condoned and must be deleted by the cache owner as a part of maintenance. If you have not reviewed the current Listing Guidelines recently, this may be a good time to do so.
