A popular place, in summer the muggles will be everywhere, fear
not, careful placement should make all stages of this cache
accessible with a little care. Please note there
is no need to bush bash or climb fences, please use gates and
styles where provided.
Three waypoints, that will lead you to a sign or plaque, answer
a few simple questions to calculate where you will find three
caches, each of which has two partial distances to the final
cache.
Cache A:
S36 36.808 E174 49.252 (cache coordinates)
Note sign may be missing see spoiler log below
Cache A is DE degrees true FG meters from here
Where:
D = the sum of all the digits of the phone number.
E = the number of letters in the name of the featured bird
F = The number of times the word “treasure” appears on the
sign
G = The number of letters in the orange word closest to the top
right of the sign.
For the purists who like to do their projections mathmatically
subtract 0.3 from the degrees to obtain an exact result
Cache B:
S36 36.774 E174 49.330 (wpB)
For the South coordinate:
Subtract H from the (S) decimal minutes of wpB where:
H = The number of dots on the second lowest line + 30
For the East coordinate:
Add J to the (E) decimal minutes of wpB where:
I = The sum of the digits in the year
J = ((I-9) x 10) + 1
Cache C:
S36 36.818 E174 49.558 (wpC)
The cache is located at S36 36.KLM E174 49.NOP
Where:
K = The number of letters in the first word of the sign minus
2
L = The sum of the digits of the freephone number
M = The last digit of the freephone number
N = The second digit of the ARC phone number
O = The last digit of the ARC phone number
P = Which step is “change numbers”
Final:
Once you have found the above three caches you will have the
distance (in meters) from each of the above caches to the
final.
