Geocache Description:

I never thought what the others did to my li'l buddy was all that fair so I gave him his own island. This is as tropical as any island around so come prepared. You will not need to charter the SS Minnow to get here tho. It is to be visited on foot. I didn't see any island natives on my visit but that doesn't mean that there wont be anyone there when you visit. Gilligan's island is a very mysterious place. Begin by parking at the gate with the secrete passage; it was put here just for you. From here it's just .35 of a mile of mostly flat land.

>>WARNING: If there is swiftly moving water in the lagoon, come back another day.

You don't need to get wet here. Another set of gates still stands between you and the booty but they will not hinder your travels here so proceed on. As you strain to see what lies ahead, a sign will come into view. A SIGN!! You think, could this be a sign of what is yet to come, or maybe Gilligan and the others just flew off the island and left this behind for you... maybe, it's just and old sign. Whatever the case, when you get here your just 74 feet away. All that stands between you and the island goodies is just 34 feet of tall grass, which my walking stick dealt with easily (The grass is now mowed down). The GPS was going topsy turvey in here, pointing up, down and all around No wonder they were lost for so long, but if yours points to the right as you walk in, go with it. You will have to think as smart as Gilligan it you plan to get off the island with any treasures. Knowing Gilligan, it's not THAT hard. If you still need some additional help, tell me where ya got lost and I'll ask the Skipper for some help. There are many trails on the island to explore if you wish. On behalf of the crew of the Minnow, we hope you had an enjoyable time.

**Glenn, the Skipper and the Li'l buddy
