Geocache Description:

Stedet er en meget lille landsby kun 14 km. fra Odenses centrum. Der er en aktiv beboerforening i landsbyen, hvor ejerne af en firelænget bindingsværksgård mit i byen har udlånt et lille stykke jord (”Toften”) til legeplads for byens børn og andre besøgende. Der er også borde og bænke, så man er velkommen til at nyde sin medbragte mad hér.

I et udhængsskab på Toften kan man se praktisk information til byens borgere, herunder indbydelse til byens fester mv., bestyrelsesbeslutninger osv.

På din vej til cachen skal du tage til den nævnte landsby, hvorfra du bliver ledt til en privat sti og mark – formentlig med afgrøder på marken. Ejeren af jorden er indforstået med dette. Men tag hensyn til naturen og evt. skriftlige anvisninger, og nyd ruten, som du bliver ledt ad.

I byen er der også to naturlejrpladser, hvor cyklister og vandrere kan slå telt op for natten – du finder ca. 800 sådanne pladser rundt omkring i Danmark (se evt. nærmere på (visit link) )

You go to a very small village only 14 km. from the city of Odense. This small village has an active group of citizens, and the owners of a four-winged halftimbered farm with thatched roofs in the centre of the village has lent a piece of land to the citizens. So there’s a small playground for children and tables and benches where anyone can bring his or her sandwiches or coffee if they like.

You find a showcase at this playground with general information to the citizens concerning feasts, tours etc. and decisions made by the village’s board.

In order to find the cache you have to go to this village. From there you will be lead to a private road and later on you have to cross some land, maybe with some crop in it. The owner of the land accepts that – but please follow any instruction which you might find on your way to the cache.

By the way, in this small village you find no less than two campsites where any non-motorized tourist may put up his/her tent for a night or two – you find around 800 such campsites all over Denmark. If you want to know more about this, have a look at (visit link)
