Geocache Description:

A traditional cache in a family and pet friendly park overlooking Gloucester Harbor. After you find the cache, you may want to look for the benchmark nearby. Container is a medium lock and lock. The terrain is rocky but there are areas where people can wait and enjoy the view if they do not want to attempt to search.

PLEASE REHIDE IN SAME LOCATION. Location chosen to avoid muggles.

There is lots of PI in the area but the path to this cache is clear. Stay on the path and bring along a few wipes just in case you brush up against some of the PI.

Stage Fort Park is the historic site of Gloucester's first settlers in 1623. They set up fishing stages on this land and it was commonly known as "Fishermen's Field". It has an information center open during the season, rest rooms on the grounds, and a playground. This area is often used for picnics and cooking is allowed if you bring your own charcoal. You probably should not attempt this cache after sunset since we don't know if the park is officially open.

The original cache contents include a new Porygon first-to-find tradition (see image in gallery).

Congratulations to Cape Ann Carol for being FTF!
