Geocache Description:

This is a 1 mile hike from the parking area to the cache using the Heritage Trail section of the Ice Age Trail which follows the Portage Canal.

This is a pleasant walk on fairly even ground. We actually seen more people in canoes and kayaks then walking. You should be able to canoe or kayak to the cache.

While we usually agree a longer hike to a cache deserves a larger container, this cache is more about the journey and not the goodies at the end.

The Heritage Trail section continues for another 8 miles to Governor’s Bend Park
