Geocache Description:


This cache leads you to the small village Ugovizza at the valley Val Canale.
Park your car at the WP1, here you can also eat fish very well at the restaurant
"Rio Arcento".

From there go to WP2, and you will find the way to the cache. Use only allowed ways.

At the coordinates in the header you can find the entrance of the ruin.
The cache is hidden in the ruin, so you don`t have a GPS reception.

History:

The Asburgo constructed a fortress to you today said (Strongly Hensel)
that it was occupied from the Veneziani in 1616, from the Massena in 1797
an Vicere Eugene Beauharnais in 1805.
In 1809, from the 14 to 16 May, the inside of the fort austrian catain Hensel
defense for three days before yielding to the armys of Napoleone.
