Introduction After
spending a lot of time looking at Cool
Cache Containers in the Geocaching forums, I was inspired to
create a cache series I call Escape From Tradition. This is
a series of four caches, a micro, a small and a regular size cache
all containing information to let you find the fourth Bonus Mystery
cache. While the first three are considered traditional caches,
they are far from traditional. I tried to come up with some unique
and creative ways to hide caches. While I am sure there are some
caches that have been hidden in a similar way, I have never seen
anything quite like these. You are not going to find these caches
by looking under piles of sticks. I do however want people to be
able to find them so I will give hints that should allow a sharp
eyed cache seeker to find the prize. Also, this is a Wildlife
Management Area where hunting is allowed so please be safe and wear
orange while in the area.
The Cache This is the
final Bonus Mystery cache in my Escape From Tradition
series. If you were able to find the first three in the series then
you have the information to locate this cache. After leaving the
third cache of the series, continue following the blue blazed
trail. The trail gets hard to find and eventually you will just
have to bushwack your way to the cache. Along the way be sure to
check out the art work of some local woodcarvers. The container is
a .30 cal. ammo can. There are some trade items to start and a
prize for the first to find (you will earn it). Please trade even
or trade up. Please replace everything as you found it so the next
cachers can enjoy the hunt as much as you did.
To find the location of this cache use the information you found in
the three Escape From Tradition caches to fill in the numbers below
N 42° 12.ABC
W 072° 16.XYZ
Congratulations to chief20r2 for three FTFs in
this series and the prize of a benchmark Geocoin.
