Start hiking section #1 of the Metacomet-Monadnock Trail. Trail-head begins on Rising Corner Rd. in Southwick, MA
The cache is a short distance east and uphill from the Metacomet-Monadnock trail just beyond the bog bridges.
You will cross the bog at the head of Harts Pond on a wooden pathway. The wetland habitat is alive with birds and frogs. Once across, the cache is a few meters east and uphill from the M-M trail. The ground starts to become rocky around the cache. If you insist on searching farther up the hill the terrain rating will be higher.
I experenced significant GPS signal bounce off the rocks, so I averaged eight readings and made the clue and the description quite specific.
