Kätkö tutustuttaa sinut Helsingin Pukkisaareen rekonstruoituun rautakautiseen kauppakylään. Koordinaatit osoittavat saaren rannalle, infotaulun luo. The purpose of the cache is to familiarize you with a small island, Pukkisaari, where an anonymous market place (from Iron Age) is being reconstucted. Coordinates lead you to the information sign.
Kauppakylä elää arkeaan maailman pohjoisella laidalla. On keskiaika ja rauta hallitsee. Eräänä iltana saaren edustalle saapuu kauppa-alus mukanaan puutavaraa ja elintarvikkeita. Vierailevat kauppiaat majoitetaan erääseen kyläaukion reunalla sijaitsevista rakennuksista. Tämän rakennuksen oven pystylankkujen lukumäärä on A (parillinen luku). Elintarvikkeet säilötään toiseen rakennukseen, jonka suomenkielisen nimen kirjainten lukumäärä tulee selvittää. Tämä luku on B.
Kylän aukion keskellä sijaitsee korkea uskonnollisiin käyttötarkoituksiin rakennettu paalu, jonka yläosassa on muutamia uurteita. Niiden lukumäärä jaettuna kahdella on C. Paalun edestä kylän uskonnollinen johtaja, shamaani, lähtee henkimatkalleen. Saadaksesi D:n arvon, löydä se mikä shamaanin täytyy löytää: manalan henkien asuinpaikka. Se sijaitsee lähellä vettä ja muistuttaa suurta linnunpönttöä. Manala lepää sidottuna kahden ohuen puun väliin. Sidonnassa on käytetty nauhaa, jossa on useita värejä. Näiden värien lukumäärä (myös valkoinen lasketaan väriksi) on D.
Pohjoisten kansojen keskuudesta shamanismi on pian väistyvä Suomeen erään lännestä saapuvan suuntauksen myötä. Tämän tradition suomenkielisen nimen kirjainten lukumäärä on E.

Far away, separated from rest of the world, there are people living in a small village. One day a merchant ship comes to town carrying timber and foods. Traders are being housed in a specific building. The number of upright posts of that buinding is A. A is an even number. Foods are being taken into an another building. The number of letters in its finnish name is B.
There is a high pole in the centre of the village. Go find it. The number of grooves high in a pole /2 is C. From here the shaman of the village starts a spiritual journey. The shaman has to find a dwelling of the dead. To find out the value of D you have to find that place too. It is located between trees on the beach and resembles a large nesting box. The box is tied down with a thin rope. The number of colours in the rope (white, too, counts as a colour) is D.
In Finland the shamanistic tradition is becoming more and more marginalized by a new, powerful spiritual trend. The number of letters in its finnish name is E.
