This cache is intended to welcome other geocachers to my home town of Monkton and introduce others to the community forest efforts lead by Vermont Family Forests (VFF) at this location. See the link below for more information.

The cache is a very generic hide with a VFF theme. The hike and views are great. The FTF price is a VFF "may the forest be with you" coffee mug. The initial contents also include several VFF bumper stickers, a purple elephant, 2 recycled light-up yo-yo's, a child's wind up toy and a couple of sparkly pencils for the kids.
Oh, it's also our first cache creation. Again, nothing special, but just wait for the next one.
