Easy walk to the cache.

Looking South of the trail, you will see farmland adjacent to the Oak Hammock Marsh.
Many insects play an important role in agriculture by being pollinators.
The ecological and economical importance of natural pollination by insects to agricultural crops is becoming more and more appreciated because it improving their quality and quantity.

In the vicinity of a forest, wild grasslands or wetlands, agricultural crops can improve their yield by about 20%.


Insect pollination saves billions of dollars annually through natural crop production and brings more fresh natural food to your table.


Something to think about next time you want to swat an insect!
