Geocache Description:

This cache is located in one of Halifax's most well-used, popular parks for humans and dogs.

The cache is located a short walk from the upper parking lot, off Tower Road, in Point Pleasant Park.

The Quarry pond, near the Park lodge, was created when slate was removed for building stone. The lodge, at the Young Avenue entrance, was completed in 1896, and built of native Nova Scotia stone.

BE AWARE of muggles, as the park can be very busy at times! PLEASE PLACE THE CACHE BACK IN THE SAME SPOT and be discreet when retrieving and putting back the cache. ** IT IS NOT IN THE CLEAR-CUT AREA. **

Also, be on the lookout for dog-poop, as there are some lazy dog owners out there!

The cache is a small, camoed container, with a logsheet and pencil. It can hold some small items, such as lapel pins.
