Kotikatu on YLE TV1 -kanavalla esittävä televisiosarja, josta
ensimmäinen osa nähtiin elokuussa 1995. Vuoteen 2004 kotikadun
tapahtumat sijoittuivat Ullanlinnan kaupunginosaan, jossa
tunnistettavina kohteina toimivat Johanneksenkirkko sekä
”Luotoloiden” yritys nimeltään Vanha Bensis. 2004
Sarjan perheet muuttivat Kallioon ja Vanhan Bensiksien
ulkokuvauslavasteena toiminut pieni huoltamorakennus purettiin.
Kyseisellä paikalla toimii edelleenkin huoltamo, mutta niin
”Hannesta” (nykyistä kansanedustaja Risto Autiota) kuin
muutakaan inhimillistä yrittäjää paikalta ei tapaa.
Kätkö sijoittuu alkuperäisen Vanhan Bensiksen lähimaisemiin. Kätkö
tehtiin 1.5.2007 Walpuri MMVII-tapaamisen aikana.
Kotikatu - Home Street - is TV series, which is played in Finnish
national television TV1 since 1995. Between years 1995 – 2004
one of the main shooting targets of the series was Old Gas Station.
At the year 2004 the scenery of the series moved to Kallio few
kilometres away from Helsinki downtown and there was no need to Old
Gas Station’s building anymore, so it was demolished.
Cache is hidden very near of Old Gas Station’s place, where
nowadays is new Gas Station without human service. Cache was made
at the Walpuri MMVII-geocaching meet at 5/1/2007.
