Kitville was on the border of Hassanamisco, and was close by to the
last settlement of the Nipmuc Tribe and the battlefield of Keith
Hill, where the Battle of Kieth Hill was fought between the British
and the Nipmuc Indians.
Kitville no longer exists but was found on the 1831 Map and Topo
maps. Hassanamisco later became Grafton.
Kitville Pond was one of 2 sources ice for the town of Grafton. The
other was lake Ripple and then was distributed at Whitney's Place
in the Farm District of Grafton.
