Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

This is the NAV NUTS 5th Cache and 1st Multi-Stage Cache.

The final destination of this cache will take you passed some lovely parts of the Victorian Coastline which you should take some extra time to explore at your own leisure.
The given co-ordinates will see you arrive for a pit stop where you could go for a fish, let the kids have a play or even launch your boat!
It is here you will need to decode your next set of co-ordinates. All you need to do is find the name of a structure, it is S.S. what? (U V W X Y Z).
From the name you reveal you must work out what number each letter represents in the alphabet, eg. A = 1, B = 2, C = 3 etc.

U = uu
V = v
W = ww
X = xx
Y = y
Z = zz

Calculate:
A = uu - 16
B = zz - 7
C = ww – 10

The Cache is located at S 38 39.VC3 E 145 A5 B00, in a lovely nearby location, which if you have a chance should take the time to explore…

The cache is a small 400ml sistema container with swaps. As usual please take care while searching and replace cache as found, and remember, ENJOY!!

Other Points of interest include S 38 42.320 E 145 48.696…

Found at 11.30am

Picked up the clue yesterday while out for a drive with the family. Did the calcs last night then set off this morning to find the final GZ.

Had the container in hand within minutes. Took nothing left TB.

Beware the mozzies!

This was a great cache on a fine and busy day after some pretty ordinary weather. The final GZ was very peaceful - lots of privacy for cache hunters although we also found the poison ivy at the old table. TNLN, thanks for the hide in a tranquil spot.

I have never come this far around the inlet. Nice walking area.
As we got close to GZ we found a pond with heaps of flowering water lilies, a nice little picnic area, and lots of places to search. We were taking our time in the search when the mozzies hit! Boy, did that make our search faster!
Found, logged and dashed away.
Took: TB in case the mozzies ate it!
Thanks, Robmc.

13.00 Solomonfamily on holiday with our friends. We had got to WP1 and the kids had a great played in the boat while the adults talked fishing. Then the talk moved to who could count as the calculation for gz seemed unlikely. A set of numbers were settled on and we went off. We all enjoyed the walk to GZ although some of us picked up spurs in socks etc. We were relived when we arrived at a location matching the clue given our collective counting abilities (I still say gz should be many more km away). Thanks for bringing us here. In pen and Rosetta Stone TB out: toy. No problem with mozzies today.

What an idyllic spot! I thought it was almost magical until I noticed more burrs - then as I removed them the mozzies noticed me and the magic turned into nightmare, boy were those mozzies BIG - and hungry! And RobMc beat me to the cache yet again.
