Stair-ing At It Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

blairt: Well its been a great run for the "Stair-ing At It" cache.

I went today for some cache maintenance to replace the container with one that has a magnet. As I was looking for the cache container to replace I was met by the, who I believe is the real Paul Blart, security guy. He asked if I was geocaching and I told him "Yes I was, and I could use some help if he knew where the cache was hidden". He replied that he knew where the cache was and proceeded to tell me that he had taken it and it won't be returned because the property management did not want it there.

Hmmmm...

I explained to him that I was the cache owner and I had asked for permission and was told I could place one there years ago. Well it seems the property is under different management and they do not want it there. I tried to explain to Paul Blart that this little cache provided good entertainment for visitors to SLC and most of all this little cache brought lots of customers to the local businesses in the building. He was not impressed. [B)]

So, not to be a pain I told them I would remove it from the active caches and they should not see anymore of us pesky geocachers again. [V]

Thanks to all that have visited the "Stair-ing At It" cache.

Geocache Description:

Another downtown micro cache. This is a log only cache so you will need to bring something to write with. Tweezers may be needed.

I get so worked up looking for these tiny micro caches I decided to place one of my own. I want to share the excitement of finding a cache this small.

This area is busy during day time hours. The best time to look for this cache is during "non-business" hours, or on the weekend. You will be able to get to the cache at ground level. Please be as stealthy as you can.

Satellite reception is weak near the cache, but this should just add to the challenge. I took the reading three different times with two different receivers, and I was not able to get closer than 50 feet accuracy.

When you are finished with the cache, please place it back exactly where you found it. Good Luck.

The difficulty rating is based on NOT using the hint. If you use the hint the difficulty will drop to a 1.5 or lower.

Congratulations to CodeCutter on the FTF
