Geocache Description:

Mae and Piper are dogs.
They love to get together to run, chase, eat, chew, swim, roll around, and generally have a good time being dogs. Mae and I hid this cache after a day of clean-up caching in Benicia and Vallejo. Mae was a little sleepy after a day of quick stops and minimal excitement. I knew just what to do.
This cache is dedicated to the two pups.

We call it: The Field.

"Discovered" in fall of aught six, by our dear friends Andrea and Walker, this open space has provided the backdrop for many memorable Mae and Piper moments.

Piper, a two and a half year old golden retriever, is full of energy and will play catch indefinately.

Mae, a one and a half year old border collie mix, is full of energy and will chase Piper indefinately.

The two make a wonderful pair. In fact, the mere utterence of the other's name will cause either pup to start searching for the other immediately.

There is nothing unusual about this container or hide. The terrain is relatively flat, but the grass is high and stickers are abundant. You will need to be on high-alert for "doggie land mines." Driving up to the cache is doable, but not recommended as concrete litters part of the land.

The container is a standard issue Martian Rabbit Black Altoids Tin, but it is NOT magnetic.
