Etwas steilerer Wandercache auf einem eindrucksvollen Gipfel
A steep hikingcache on top of an impressive summit
Der 2105m hohe Hochkogel ist der höchste Punkt des Kaiserschildmassives.
Der Berg schaut abweisender aus als er tatsächlich ist - wer etwas trittsicher und schwindelfrei sollte kein Problem haben den Kogel auf den Kopf zu steigen. Mögliche Wege zum Gipfel:
- Von der Ramsau übers Bärnloch - Beschreibung
- Von der Ramsau über den Radmerhals - Beschreibung
- Von Münichtal über die Sandgrube - laaaang aber schön
Da das Kaiserschildmassiv lange Zeit ein streng gehütetes Jagdgebiet war führen auch noch etliche Jagdsteige auf den Gipfel. Eine gute Wanderkarte kann hier Auskunft geben.
Übrigens perfekt kombinierbar mit dem nahen Cache Des Kaisers Schild :)
Der Cache ist etwas unterhalb des Gipfels nahe beim Weg versteckt.
The Hochkogel 2015m is the highest point of the Kaisershield-mountainrange.
The mountain looks more forbidding than it atually is - if you have a head for heights and can move over rocky terrain the trip to the cache shouldn't be a problem for you. Possible paths:
The Kaiserschild Range used to be a well protected hunting range, so many hunting paths lead to the summit area. A good hiking map can tell you more.
This cache is easy to combine with its nearby brother Des Kaisers Schild
The cache is hidden below the summit near the path.
