June 21, 2007, the first day of summer and the "longest" day of
the year. This event welcomes the summer and will give use a
opportunity to talk about our caching plans in Central Jersey this
coming summer.
This event will separate the goats from the sheep, the
uber-cachers from the cachers, and perhaps the unemployed from the
employed! ;)
Get here early and watch the sun come up while we have breakfast,
talk geocaching and welcome the summer.
Here's the one ground rule for this event: in order to log this
as a find, you must be at the diner and sign the event logbook
by sunrise (5:24 am), on June 21st.
From there, you're free to do whatever: Stay and have breakfast,
leave and go to work, plan a whole day of caching, or just hang out
and chat Geocaching.
There are plans to have some new caches placed in the area for
this event. If you'd like to place a cache for this event, let us
know. You can also coordinate with the local reviewer to have
caches published the night before the event.
If you plan on attending, please include in your posting how
many will be in your group so we can let the diner folks know how
many crazy cachers to expect. Be sure to watch this page for
updates, changes, and/or announcements.
The Omega
Diner has a typical diner breakfast menu that will be available
to us, individual billing and free WiFi!
We hope to see you there!
