Geocache Description:

Vermont has come a long way in Geocaching. On October 14, 2000, the first geocache was made in Vermont. Little did anyone know that 7 years later, there would be 1000 active geocaches in Vermont. This is Vermont's 1000th active geocache!!!

This cache will bring you to the higher trails in Mills Riverside Park. You want to take the South Hill East Loop, and the cache will be along the trail, going up the hill. There are three stages, and a final. They are very creative hides set my the QSeekers and myself.

The final is a Ammo Can. There is plenty of things to trade inside.

I hope you all enjoy Vermont's 1000th, keep making geocaches, and we may make 2000 by 2012!

PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB THE AREA WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE CACHE! EVERYTHING CAN BE FOUND WITH A SIMPLE LIFT, OR LOOK. DO NOT THROW PARTS OF THE AREA AROUND. IT TOOK FOREVER FOR ME TO FIND ONE STAGE BECAUSE PARTS OF THE AREA WERE ALL THROWN AROUND! THANKS!
