Geocache Description:

The Kinni River Land Trust organization (one of the sponsors of this property managed by the DNR) is a group aimed at protecting the natural resources & scenic beauty of the Kinnickinnic River Watershed (see their website at: (visit link) You can park at N44 56.964 W092 30.597 (right off 60th Ave.) and take the nice two-track back for a bit. It then turns into a single trail which is not well-defined but the terrain is mostly long grass with some small hills mixed in. It’s a decent hike from the parking area, but very enjoyable. No need to go down the steep hill at the cache site – stay at the crest of the hill. You’ll see the Kinnickinnic River down below (waaaaay below).

Dog access is limited here till the end of July to allow the pheasants and other wildlife to raise their families. Enjoy this area!

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the land manager at the Baldwin DNR office of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: (visit link: (visit link)
