Geocache Description:

Take a look down the Shell River and you will see a iron bridge in the water. This bridge connected the town of Asessippi (a ghost town now), whose townsite was on both sides of the river. The story is this bridge fell apart, when a cattle liner (maybe full) was crossing, and it was never repaired, just left in the river. Then along came a entrepenuer (scrap metal collector) who drug it out of the river and took it home. Oops, bad move, was ordered to bring it back, and yessss put it back in the river. Hmmm. This is a 3/4 of mile hike in from either Hwy. 83 or Asessippi Winter Park. Or you could canoe down.
