Located at the Heald Pond conservation area in Pepperell. A fairly easy one for my first cache, but with some steep terrain and interesting geography.
This is an interesting area in Pepperell that's worth visiting. There are hundreds of acres of conservation land around the pond, and to the north along a stream, and there is even a small cave along the stream if you wish to explore further!
I did not go too bananas putting this one together; but hey, bananas taste good, they are nutritious, and they are also funny... How can it get any better than that? Well, how about a banana themed geocache too!
The cache will be started off with the usual assortment of trading items. You are encouraged to leave items with a banana-related theme, but it is certainly not required. You are welcome to take your picture (and by all means, post it to the site :)
Most of the trail is fairly easy, but there is a short and very steep area. Some portions of the trail may be slippery when wet. The cache may be considerably more challenging in winter.
