THIS IS A THEMED CACHE - PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE STARTING.
The village of Goffstown has many great attributes, Glen Lake is one of them. This cache has been placed where you can get some great views of this beautiful lake.
Please resist the temptation to drive down the trail; Goffstown PD enforces the "No motorized vehicles" posting. I would recommend parking either at the Little League field parking area on Route 114 (if you can find a spot) or just off of Route 114 at N43 00.928, W071 34.277. Follow the "Rails To Trails" trail in toward the lake. No bushwacking is necessary for this cache. Enjoy the short hike and the lake views.
***NOTE*** Parts of the trail run along a ridge well above the lake, keep an eye on small children. No night caching is permitted.
There are not many themed caches around, so we created one. Here’s the deal – This cache is for the exchange of souvenir type items only. Keep it simple; stuff like Post Cards, Souvenir Pennies, Key chains, and other mementos from places that you’ve visited. If you leave a non-traditional souvenir that does not fit into the above categories, please explain in the log why you left what you did. Travel Bugs and GeoCoins are always welcome.
This Cache is starting out with a bunch of postcards and souvenir pennies. Feel free to expand on this theme but PLEASE STICK WITH IT.
